Rare Earth Elements (REEs) are more common than their name suggests but discovering them in economically viable concentrations is rare.

Furthermore, these concentrations must be in a suitable host rock to facilitate processing. REP has the expertise to not only locate REEs but also ensure their effective extraction from host rock formations.

REP also specializes in the exploration of valuable metals, including gold, silver, platinum group metals, cobalt, scandium, and various other metals. Similar to the approach with REEs, REP’s method involves a comprehensive three-step process.

Exploration

Satellite spectrometry

REP’s exploration process uses satellite spectrometry to study Earth efficiently. Partnering with Perry Remote Sensing, LLC, REP saves time and money by identifying spectral signatures that reveal different deposits or mineralization. Infrared spectrometry plays a key role, as materials reflect and absorb light in unique ways. By comparing captured spectra to a spectral library, we can accurately identify known materials.

Mapping

Uav Sensing

At REP, we are committed to revolutionizing the mineral exploration industry through substantial investments in advanced remote sensing technology, leveraging the latest in Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle (UAV) innovation. Our state-of-the-art drones, equipped with advanced sensory equipment, significantly reduce exploration costs by precisely identifying mineral deposits and mapping terrain.

Extraction

Coring and geo mapping

REP employs state-of-the-art coring equipment and techniques. The data from core samples are analyzed in REP’s mobile laboratories and integrated into specialized software to generate subsurface geo-maps. When combined with UAV sensing data, these comprehensive maps offer valuable insights into geological composition and the presence of mineral resources.

As part of the coring process, REP isolates water zones and collects water samples, especially when brine water is present. These water samples are then analyzed to detect the presence of hydrous metals, such as lithium and zinc. This allows us to assess the potential for valuable hydrous resources in the exploration area.
